Structure as a precondition

There is a costly belief in Romanian organisational culture: structure is built after growth has happened. This is survivorship bias. We see large companies and assume they grew first and organised themselves later. The reality is the reverse: they could scale only because they had a structure that made it possible.

Why the order matters

On a fragile structure, growth only magnifies the damage. Operational complexity grows exponentially with revenue, while the founder’s resources grow only linearly. Without architecture, the breaking point is inevitable.

Business architecture means agility, far removed from ‘corporate’ rigidity. It means a foundation that can bear the weight of success without buckling under it.
